"Consent!? Is it in the room with us? Jacob kissing Bells, without asking, then she gets mad punches him, BREAK HER HAND, and yet he is completly happy with himself, sure that he did a good thing. The delusion, the egotism, the lack of care. UNBELIEVEABLE" Dec 10, 2025 12:46PM

"Actually I'm only on page 133, but I decided to move to the last two champters, because I had a feeling that Faxneld saved the best for last. And finally a dource that truly livebup to the books name. The story of Mary maclane, which this chapter deals with in detail, is the diary of a 19 year old girl, who praises the devil and devour herself to him. It's giving the satanic bible but if Lavey were a gay teen girl" Dec 06, 2025 01:41PM

"I'm done with the first phase of the book! Or I'm not really done becasue I will undoubtedly be revisiting this again and again! I really like it, not just the beautiful language, but also the life view. It's a diary of someone struggeling with purpose and finding life meaningless, there is a big focus on dreams, and it truly questions what is valuable/meaningfull if anything even is." Mary MacLane
“I am not good. I am not virtuous. I am not sympathetic. I am not generous. I am merely and above all a creature of intense passionate feeling. I feel—everything. It is my genius. It burns me like fire.”
Mary MacLane, I Await the Devil's Coming

“I think people often try to find through sex things that are much easier to find in other ways.”
Claire Morgan, The Price of Salt, or Carol

Mary MacLane
“Sometimes I think I am a strange, strange creature -- something not of earth, nor yet of heaven, nor of hell. I think at times I am a little thing fallen on the earth by mistake: a thing thrown among foreign, unfitting elements, where every little door is closed -- every Why unanswered, and itself knows not where to lay its head. I feel a deadly certainty in some moments that the wild world contains not one moment of rest for me, that there will never be any rest, that my woman's-soul will go on asking long, long centuries after my woman's-body is laid in its grave.”
Mary MacLane, I Await the Devil's Coming

Mary MacLane
“I can think of nothing in the world like the utter littleness, the paltriness, the contemptibleness, the degradation, of the woman who is tied down under a roof with a man who is really nothing to her; who wears the man’s name, who bears the man’s children—who plays the virtuous woman. There are too many such in the world now.”
Mary MacLane, The Story of Mary MacLane

Mary MacLane
“Are there many things in this cool-hearted world so utterly exquisite as the pure love of one woman for another woman?”
Mary MacLane, I Await the Devil's Coming
