It didn’t really hit me like wow i need to read this book again and the plot is less exciting for me then the other books i have read. I like how the author explains how Judy Moody got famous because it shows her journey from getting famous and how she never gave up on trying to get famous. Judy loves to be herself and doesn’t like to pretend to be someone she is not and is trying to do something to get famous. The main thing in Judy moody is that she is kind to others and trying to get famous that is meaningful to her. In the book Judy moody explains in this quote how she is trying to get famous “Famous! She, Judy Moody, had to get famous. And she had to get famous before Jessica Finch” (Megan 15). This quote shows how determined Judy is to get famous and her being jealous in the beginning of the story. Additionally “She tried to think of something she could do that was better than winning a spelling bee” (Megan 30). Judy is determined to stand out and to be noticed by other people. Thirdly “It was the best bad mood ever. The famous kind” (Megan 50). Judy is proud of finally getting recognition, but it’s not just for being famous it’s for doing something good. Furthermore “It made her feel famous on the inside” (Megan 50).This quote shows Judy’s growth. She realizes that doing something kind can feel even better than being on TV or in the newspaper. However “She, Judy Moody, had finally done something gooder than good” (Megan 112). This quote shows Judy’s realization that helping someone else made her feel proud and happy even more than just being famous.Judy is focused on becoming famous, but she discovers that doing something kind is more rewarding than getting attention. The book teaches readers that being yourself and helping others is more important than being in the spotlight. ...more "
