"The Sunflower by Simon Wiesenthal was an excellent read. It gives Simon and other Jewish prisoners perspectives about the harsh times of the Holocaust. I would not have known about all that they had been through. "The end was awesome. The fact that Eilis ended up telling her mother about her marriage was needed. Going back to see her husband Tony, was the right choice in my opinion. Leaving and cutting off Jim was the best choice too. Tony is best for her. I sort of feel bad for her mother being all by herself, but those are things that you just eventually have to live with." — Apr 21, 2025 03:51PM
