I devoured this in just over 24 hours and I honestly had the time of my life!!

This was definitely the strongest entry in the series so far, and really felt like a departure from being a fantasy roman did I finish the book, or did the book finish me?

I devoured this in just over 24 hours and I honestly had the time of my life!!

This was definitely the strongest entry in the series so far, and really felt like a departure from being a fantasy romance into a romantic fantasy, which I absolutely loved.

Although the regions, politics and huge list of characters left me a bit confused for about 5 chapters, once I fully immersed myself back into the world, I was SAT.

I love that Rebecca throws you into the deep end and doesn’t spoon feed information, it kept me turning pages and intrigued for what would happen in the future. And BOY do we have some fun in store for the rest of the series 👁️👄👁️

The characters also truly SHONE in onyx storm, they were all at their best.

Violet has become one of my favourite FMCs; she’s smart, quick-witted, brave and extremely cutthroat, which was incredible to witness. Her ability to overcome both adversity and manage her chronic illness truly has me in awe, she’s the ultimate badass imo 🫡

Xaden was hot as hell and his unending obsession which Violet had me kicking my feet any time he spoke 🙂‍↕️ He has an unbelievable way with words and whilst being v broody on the outside, his gentleness and love on the inside made me fall even harder for him. I really do support this man’s rights and WRONGS 😮‍💨

Ridoc was absolutely standout for me, his humour and smartass quips had my actually laughing out loud, and the relationship he has with aotrom was hilarious, they’re just two total bros having the time of their life, silly boys!! His signet development was insane too uh HELLO mr freeze 😙

Tairn and Andarna were the perfect saracstic duo as always, and Tairn’s commitment to being a professional hater / curmudgeon was *chef’s kiss*

All in all this was a fantastic continuation to what is becoming one of my favourite romantasy series, yes I’m going to need at least 5 days to process the trauma and grief from finishing, but what good book doesn’t leave you reeling once you leave the world? ✨ ...more "

Sin Bin (D.C. Stars, #5) by Chelsea Curto

24 notes & 29 highlights

“Or you could stay and tell me more about the ways you would fuck me,” I blurt, emboldened by the way his eyes rake down my thighs. Hungry, aching. “If that’s what you want, you should do it.” “It is my birthday,” he murmurs. A ...more
