"Finished the first story. I had forgotten how much I loved Amor Towles’ writing! This was a simultaneously silly and quasi-philosophical story. The MC had lots of traits similar to the MC from “A Gentleman in Moscow” and there were a couple of, not so subtle but funny nonetheless, references to his other books. I enjoyed this one! It showed how life is just a series of people you meet that take you somewhere." — Apr 14, 2026 08:35PM
