"Halfway through this audiobook (15 hours) and I may call it. We’ve already outlived a generation and I’m sure the various storylines will at some point be relevant to each other, but the second generation is hard to bond with, and after reading though the second tragic childhood death in book, this time caused by his father’s own weakness of character, I’m not sure I have the heart to continue." — Apr 26, 2024 02:27PM
