"For a minute I believed Catherine was feeling remorse for her ways as death was confirmed for her, but no—she was just as insufferable or even more at death’s door. It interests me that Heathcliff is aware of her wickedness and fault yet still calls her upon him.
She was unbearable and now I believe Heathcliff will become more in her stead.

"Starting the story and we’re introduced to Raskolnikov and his intrusive thoughts. Though it’s not being laid out plainly, you can tell what he’s thinking (and I know this is a ‘why done it too’ but I’m wondering is poverty all that is driving him towards something so grave?
