Okay, hear me out, I never thought I would give this book a chance (turns out those are the ones I end up liking the most) because the truth is, I didn't know that Ali could do something like this. I've only read two of her books; Deep End, which, I hated, and Bride, which I didn't hate but it didn't do much for me either. So I just didn't think much of Ali and the rest of her books. But then, the Love Hypothesis movie is announced and I just wanted to have some knowledge about the plot before watching the movie, i never thought that I would end up loving it this much.

This book has my favorite trope, an oblivious FMC that has no idea how bad he's got it for her… and a MMC that would do absolutely anything for her and that he's perfectly fine with keeping his feelings a secret because there's no way she would like him back because why would someone as beautiful and perfect as her would look twice in his direction? MY HEART.

Adam Carlsen just made it to my book boyfriend list because he's perfect. I have nothing to say about him other than I'm sad he's fictional. But in all seriousness, I loved his character so much. he was the perfect amount of broody, and sweet and I can't even find the right words. he was just that, perfect. He spent years pining after her after they had a brief interaction, and when she came to him with this crazy idea of fake dating he was quick to take the opportunity.

Then there's Olive whom I loved as well, she was so endearing and sweet like even her name was so adorable to me. And together they made the perfect pair.

This book and Adam made my heart flutter so many times that I thought I was having a heart attack. It was just so cute and had the perfect amount of angst, yearning, and PLEASE. It is one of those books that I could reread multiple times, I feel like it has just become one of my new comfort reads.

When the movie comes out I’m gonna pass out. Lili and Tom recreating all of this? No yeah, my heart won't be able to take it.

Also, I read the two chapters in his POV and I'm still crying on the floor. I love him.
