"There's something interesting about this book that I can't quite comprehend...
It's disgusting, truly, this middle-aged man is trying to justify his intimacy with a "nymphet", in which that term already is despicable...
but what blurs my disgust and interest for this book is the explanation and the philosophy of the untrustworthy Humbert Humbert, meditated and calculated, he makes up every excuse.. it works." — Jan 07, 2026 10:49AM

"I'm not gonna lie this book is so boring, the child abuse is insane, but Pelzer writes in a weird point of view, where he takes the abuse from a present (front POV) to a past perspective, all while using vocabulary that at all isn't advanced, but things that a child his age (at the account of the abuse) would not know or use." — Jan 06, 2026 07:51PM
