"Fantastic so far! I’m reading along with the audiobook (narrated by Miss Tina herself) and while the first few chapters are mainly regarding the Summer of ‘59 when she was 5 years old, it’s truly fascinating to hear about her childhood. She does a great job with world-building, showing what Galveston was like back then as well as touching on racism and family dynamics, so overall I can’t wait to keep reading!" — Jun 04, 2025 11:26PM
