"CLIMAX: The climax is when Belly confronts Conrad about how he likes her and she likes him. He says she is nothing to him, and that she is too childish for him to love her. However, Belly argues and it is clear that the mixed signals all summer have led up to this. It also becomes clear that Jeremiah is sticking up for Belly. Belly acts later based on this argument and confrontation where all emotions are unleased." — May 18, 2026 09:04PM

"TYPES OF CONFLICT: Lauren's conflict is character vs. self. Although throughout the insight into her family's history there are family conflicts, Lauren struggles with herself. As she matures, the ability to turn back time is hard. She undoes what she has done with Scott because she loves Leo. Then, when her father gets sick and she knows she used it, she regrets using it and thinks she is selfish. She hates herself." — May 11, 2026 08:49AM

"Supporting Characters: So far, (and in the book before), Pip's dad has been very loving and supportive. He did not originally want Pip to get too far into a murder, but he was also always there to help. He was kind and a caring host when Ravi came over. He also supports the friendship and knows Pip has a new podcast. Pip feels safe around him. He is also a little bit of a distraction when she gets deep into cases." — Mar 30, 2026 08:41AM
