"POINT OF VIEW: while the book is set through a third person perspective, almost every chapter it switches from Macys perspective with her captor, to the families perspectives back at home. On page 167, " maybe seeing us on TV will be enough to bring our baby home", this helps show how the family wants Macy to come home and signify a stronger line through Macys perspective and the other perspective." — May 18, 2026 09:39AM
