"I’m not not enjoying it. The story and world building is incredible. However, I constantly feel myself desiring more emotional depth and turmoil than the surface level drama offered here. This is not to say the characters aren’t experiencing very real and relatable struggles. But bro, sometimes I want my heart to be ripped out and left to bleed with the characters on the page, and that is not this kind of book." — Jul 03, 2026 06:28PM
