"I’m just not sure about this book. I like the plot and sometimes the prose is beautiful, but the characters feel flat and sometimes (some scenes) it feels like a straight rip off from other books with the prose just littered with big emotions and cliches. Will try to give it another go but it’s unfortunately starting to smell like a DNF for me." — Mar 13, 2026 09:05AM
