"Tom Holt (KJ Parker) seems to always write about displacement, racism/xenophobia, gentrification, and colonization. But I continue to enjoy reading him complain. I've exclusively listened to his books on audio with the exception of this and orc on the wild side tho and omg it's so slow going. I might give up and do the audiobook for this one too honestly."
