Each generation of stars creates more complex elements of higher atomic number. Eventually the oldest part of the universe (center point of expansion) will produce an element that enables FTL. AND THAT WILL ALLOW THIS FUTURE ELEMENT TO MOVE DEEP INTO THE PAST.
