"Hmmmm I am so close to DNF ing this book.... It's not badly written, but the constant parallels with Fourth Wing (dragon bonds, war academy, vile instructors) and Harry Potter (Lyric really feels like Hagrid, friendship group, enemy school peers, Snape like instructors, vengeance for dead parents) is wearing and tiresome.
