"The FMCs in these books are so unlikable. Each of the, albeit few, I’ve read of Penny Reid portray women poorly. Most of the antagonists in the series so far have been women. This book in particular and it’s always a “crazy” woman/women. Only the main characters aren’t portrayed as crazy but they do have their own flaws. They’re childlike too." — Aug 29, 2026 11:01AM
