"i definitely got more sucked in the further along i read. much of the wording, phrases and references are over my head but i got the gist and just kept going. would love to see a film adaptation or any accompanying sketches or illustrations to better understand his burrow. and it’d just make for a great film. a sort of 1930s The Fugitive. i may go back and reread the first 10% to better understand the context." — Jan 26, 2026 06:23PM
