"First 3 books were pretty good, then the writing becomes boring & repetitive. The books are a mish mash of LOTR & GOT and the writer no longer seems to have control of the story. The characters are hollow & just pale copies of characters out of Tolkein & Martin's books. It's as if the writer was given an outline and told to finish the story according to some Hollywood Freemason agenda just like GOT & WOT (R Jordan)." Dec 27, 2021 05:52AM

Michael Wisehart
“I believe you can tell a lot about a man by his time of arrival. A man who arrives late is lazy, self-indulgent, and has a total lack of respect for the other party. However,”
Michael Wisehart, The White Tower

Philip C. Quaintrell
“Don’t think about it. Accept the world isn’t the way you thought it was and move on; trust me, it’s the only way you’ll find sleep.”
Philip C. Quaintrell, Age of the King

J.A. Andrews
“Everyone is clear-minded in their own mind. Too much time alone traps a man in his own mind. Not enough time alone traps him in other’s. It is a terrifying thing to be truly seen—but it is infinitely worse not to be.”
J.A. Andrews, The Keeper Chronicles

“Simple … humans must learn to live without government,” Bragador said. “Government, organized force, is the repository of evil. It is the source of corruption, the enemy of civilization and the problem with the world. As long as there is a place where concentrated power resides, it will attract evil people like dung attracts flies. The only solution is to remove the pile of dung.”
David A. Wells, Cursed Bones

Michael Wisehart
“Affection from a child was love in its purest form. There was no judgment of past wrongs, no incrimination, no strings attached. A child’s love concealed no hidden agenda, no preconceived notion concerning what they expected from the relationship. Their motives lay open and bare.”
Michael Wisehart, Plague of Shadows
