In truth, Abalone wasn’t so certain. If the male loved her enough? But that was not the point of all this, was it.
Super glad I read some of the reviews of this book going in and kinda got a heads up that there was going to be a lot of small plots of new characters. I know it’s counterintuitive to want to know what direction the book is gonna take but I find it helps me gauge expectations and actually allows me to enjoy the book more.
