This is my first book by this author and I’m really enjoying it. This is the story of Ginger and Graham. Graham is a bit mafia and Ginger comes from an elite family with fatherly expectations that she abhors. Her father was a serial cheater and an all around disappointment in her life. His goals are solely around his business and his reputation and he eagerly sacrificed his daughter to ensure that he stayed on top. When her father calls her to meet him for dinner, he introduces her to his latest girlfriend… who is actually a year younger than she is. She is appalled and disgusted and decides to seek revenge by sleeping with his girlfriend’s father just to prove to her dad how sick it is for a man his age to seek out a woman that could be his daughter. And so she does and then surprise, she finds out she’s pregnant. But rather than tell Graham, she hides it from everyone. She refuses to tell her father or even her best friend who her baby’s father is. Two years later, she is called to her father’s mansion for a Christmas party where he asks the girlfriend to marry him. Since his girlfriend has invited HER FATHER…. Graham shows up, sees Ginger and then sees his daughter. Graham has never gotten Ginger out of his mind and he feels like he lost one daughter and he’s determined to keep them both. This was pretty good. The writing was easy and readable which is a definite thing for me. The characters were all well thought out, and the plot was unique… thank goodness because so many of these books today are the same plot over and over again. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
