Ah! The man--of course because he is a man--is rational, uses his mind and has the good sense to think of the issues of poor downtrodden masses too (after he has used their services). Unlike the woman, who in this feminist book, is very emotional, driven by a bit of kinship and a lot of sexual desire, and does not understand strategy or purpose (beyond husband, cousin, family) at all. Oh, but she gets very feministly angry and has no compassion to spare for fighting back against cold mages.

Reminds me of the reaction to Palestine. Only American revolutionaries can fight injustice. Or Canadian or WWII veterans or what have you in UK and Europe. Every one else must lay down their arms and die, you see.

Oh wait, there is her extremely feminist cousin who gives speeches about men not having the right to own women (very bad that) while taken in by the charm of a general, and being all about wanting comfort and queendom.

All this feminism in the book is truly making me a radical.

Ooh! Queer people have suddenly come into existence in this world. On the margins of course. To be mentioned only casually without any names. But they do exist.

Do you know how handsome Vai is? Lest you forget, it is mentioned every few pages. Perhaps, every few lines. He is truly handsome, you see.

Ah, very handsome and good in bed. Arrogant, so attractively so. Jealous too of any man apparently.

But I do see what the other reviewers meant about Bee. Quite the modern woman, I see. ...more "
