Reynie, sticky, Kate, and Constance are orphans saved the world already and have to do it again but can they travel around the world and find Mr. Benedict in only 4 days? they have a mission to find Mr. Benedict who has been captured by his brother Mr. Ledroptha Curtain. Mr. Curtain has already tried to take over the world once and the kids stopped him they found their roles in the team and why each of them is important. Reynie is the leader and very sharp he reads emotions and usually is what keeps the group together. Sticky is incredible in the fact that whatever he sees will automatically sick in his mind giving him the nickname sticky(his real name is George Washington). Kate is athletic fast and the daughter of a top agent who has kept the group alive from more than one trap by using her circus skill to get them out of tight spots. Constance is a very smart 3 year old who can :sense: things with out seeing people she know they are coming and other weird things like that. She is also very stubborn and the rest of the group didn't learn she was three till the end of the book.

since this is the second book in the series the characters are easier to under stand and Stewart talks a lot more about what is going on around them rather than re describe their personalities again. they are reunited and then they learn about his capture. they then decide they must go after him...they are his only hope since it would seem that they would pose no threat when in fact they pose a huge threat to Mr. Curtain since it forces Mr. Benedict to use his massive powers of persuasion.

they are all over the place in the world and Stewart uses actual places when he can bu t some are made up. they never tell you if you are in the U.S. i just assumed it and they are in a town called Stonetown so very original. they are almost capture in Holland which is one of the best parts of the book and Kate's father saves them but also puts them in danger, because they won't be left behind they had to save him. i won't give away the ending so i had better stop there.

if you enjoy books with adventure, and a certain amount of mystery this is a good book for you. if you think it is a book on some people just sailing on a boat you should read Moby Dick. ...more "
