Also this book was a promise of more! More of a or of things, I won’t spoil anything 👀 but I can say that reyne manages to make me so freaking excited for the next book!

Also I really liked the FMC, actually just as described in the authors’ note I sometimes feel so frustrated and tired of a plus sized FMC hating her body/the MMC loving her despite of it or “showing her how beautiful she is”

While that thought was refreshing compared to the last few books I read or tried to read with a plus-sized FMC I don’t feel like I can really say if the execution was done well as I’m not plus-sized myself (altho I don’t think of myself as slimm haha and rather curvy? But I always want to thread carefully on topics like this 🙈 but if you read the reviews of others it seems like the author didn’t really succeed in this)

I do have to say that some things felt a bit rushed and some points felt like the story started to drag a bit (around 77%) also I think my main issue was that while we had a lot of worldbuilding that took away from character development? I didn’t always like the relationship development and certain plot choices, but tbh maybe they were (brutally) honest? I don’t know if the story was intended this way haha but I tried to see it as not just a love story but yeah hard to explain without spoilers haha.

AND MAGNAR y’all MAGNAR is just the sweetest one ever and I love him with whole my heart. ⚠️MINOR SPOILER OPINION ⚠️Did he deserve better? I was a bit conflicted - yes, I’m sure he feels happy and satisfied (for as much as he can?) but I think he deserves better or at least I hoped to see some more bonding of the main characters (here again i refer to the rushed feeling) to prove its *more* 💗

BUTTTTT as I said the worldbuilding and history was really cool and the potential future dustwalkersssss 👀 I cannot wait to read their stories!! AND I waaaasss emotional during this book, this book really brought up a lot of different emotions compared to book 1 which was a nice surprise!

All in all I still really flew through this book and enjoyed reading it!! I cannot wait to pick up book 3! ...more "
