"This book does a lot of telling rather than showing . FMC was in an abusive relationship and left but we don’t learn much else and then immediately she’s out with friends and connecting with some mmc. Author doesn’t give a lot of dialogue so it’s hard to feel the connection though we do get inner monologues. The men make a deal mmc has to help get other sisters married to avoid scandal and he gets to marry FMC and the estate. I stopped here cause this storyline wasn’t doing it for me.
