2023. First read in a library hardback in early 2024, then re-read in this library Kindle edition in August and September 2024 to discuss with Geeks Read on 9/3/24. The author is, as always (I read Fuzzy National and The Kaiju Preservation Society with enjoyment and admiration), assured, imaginative, fun-loving, and has many likable characters (both human and non-human).
