While it’s understandable to want to be near and with the person we love, we shouldn’t base our decisions solely on that feeling. We have to remember that we have our own lives. We are our own person. It’s important not to lose yourself or your identity. That is not love. Choosing your path independently of someone else’s is a form of self-respect, and real love should support that.
