I vaguely recognize some of them, but not most of them. I rarely remember the names or faces of nonfictional people.
I identify with this phenomenon and wonder what it means about my psyche. Does it mean that fiction is more important to me than reality? Does it mean I divest interest in uninteresting people? Maybe it means that the fantasy worlds we construct for ourselves (ideology) is more important than locating instances of reality or sincerity. Does that trait shape my life or is it the shape my life has taken as a result of socialization? I need to know more about Chuck Klosterman.
