I feel like The last part of this rings true for most if they “want” to believe in God regardless if they think he’s indifferent or not. I have learned that a lot of people have a massive hole in their lives regarding the philosophy of their existence and why horrible things happened to them. They would rather believe that there is a divine purpose to it so they feel it’s not their fault. They don’t want to feel alone
