Where he is then take to the hospital where a weird guy shows up and takes him to an island no one knows where its located. Jack finds there are three other kids there Marco a super atlete, Aly a super geek with computers, and Cass who has basically a map built in his head. Jack finds out he has a disease called G7W where he is getting stonger too fast the disease comes from a the lost civilization of Atlantis where 7 loculi were stonlen. Jack, Aly, Cass, and Marco have to find the 7 loculi so they don't die from the disease. On the second night Jack is there the group plans an escape which goes wrong and Beghad rescues them. When Jack, Aly, Cass, and Marco climb up to the top of Mount Onyx on the mysterious Island with Torquin they split off. When they reach the top a vromski attacks them and they realize Mount Onyx is a volcano. A vromski is a animal back from Atlantis. Marco then sacrifices himself to save the others as he and the vromski fall in to the volcano. Jack, Aly, and Cass run back to the institute to professor Bhegad who runs the place. They set up a search team to go find him. They find a secret passage way in the volcano where the cave collapses separating Jack, Aly, and Cass from Torquin, Bhegad, and the other guards at the institute. The select which is what Bhegad calls them move through out the tunnels with Cass's mapping skills which he found a map on the top of the volcano. They get to the center when a someone steps on something which a green sludge lands on them and starts on fire they quickly exit the room to find another way out. They find an exit to where when they reach it they see everyone is badly burned and bruised but they are healing from a waterfall inside the volcano. They search around and find Marco also healing from the waterfall. When there trying to find a way out Jack ventures off and finds the ruin where 7 circles and a sword lay. He picked up the sword which released a griffon. Jack then realizes where the loculi were. The 7 wonders of the ancient world. The griffon attacks the institute where the select hurry back to with Torquin and Bhegad. The griffin picks up Cass and flies off. The griffon was used to protect the loculi back in Atlantis. Bhegad tells them to hurry and find it with Torquin. Bhegad tells them there is another group out there called the Massa who hunted the griffon and are followers of the prince of Atlantis who stole the loculi. Bhegad told the select that they were desendents of the Atlantis's last royal family. Karai one of the princes devoted the rest of his life to find the loculi but couldn't. When Massayrym stole the loculi the destruction of Atlantis started. He had followers to help him hide it. The select hurry to find the griffin which they tracked by Cass's tracker. The griffon dropped Cass off in Rhodes where the collossus is. Torquin gets arrested then the select follow a group of people. The group leads them to the griffon where its being attacked. Once they got rid of the griffon the group gave Jack a torch and it started to glow and it led him to a room where he found the loculi and where the Collasus rose. The select destroyed the colasus with the loculi which allows them to fly. The select find Cass and take him to a hotel, and then Jack and Aly went to get Torquin out of jail. When they return Marco is gone with the loculi. The group heads back to the instiute and tell Beghad. The book then ends. I recommend this book to whoever likes adventure, and mystery.

So, Jack what was your first impression on Beghad.

Jack: I thought he was crazy when I first got there then when we got the first loculi and found the griffon my thoughts about him changed.

Jack how was life before you were at the institute.

Jack: It was rough I wasn't really good at anything and was picked on a little bit.

Jack how cool was it when you were flying with the loculi.

Jack: I though it was really cool and I didn't think it would let me fly. When that happened I thought I was dead because I fell off a cliff but then I flew around with it. ...more "
