"I like this book because of the shift it includes. In the beginning, Estrella tried to put in a facade that she was something else than what she really was. she wanted to fit in so bad, that she accommodated herself to the lives if those around her instead of sticking to her lifestyle." — Nov 10, 2014 03:06PM

"I read this book first when in sixth grade. I remember loving it so I decided to reread, and I once again enjoyed it. this book was obviously not to enhance my reading level, but for enjoyment." — Sep 30, 2014 09:04AM

"I personally like that the author included this image. I think that while it may be difficult for one to grasp the portrayed age described in the short story, it gives a glimpse into the mind of the author. the text also interested me- particularly the part about the librarians in their coffins." — Sep 15, 2014 03:57PM
