She was forced to face school alone and at home her sister's eating disorder had driven a wedge into the family atmosphere. Annabel's life was miserable until she met Owen. Owen is a quiet boy with a love for music that gives Annabel the voice she needs to turn her life around and talk about what really happened the night of the party.

I personally love every book by Sarah Dessen that I have read, and that would be almost all of them. They are always well written stories that allow you to relate to the character in each of her books. I know that I have loved every one of the main characters in Sarah Dessen's books. This book in particular is great because it illustrates how hard it can be to come out and relive the truth and then to recount it. It can help many girls who are going through the same struggle as Annabel.
