This summer Lena traveled to her grandparents house in Greece. Lena is the first girl with the pair of jeans.The first thing Lena saw was a brilliant egg yolk shade of yellow and bright blue house. Lena´s grandma welcomed her. "Velcome home!" (Brashares 39). lena´s grandma didn´t know how to speak english very well plus she had the greek accent. Lena´s grandma spoke some english but her grandma didn´t and Lena didn´t speak Greek. Grandma showed Lena her room, her room had amazing views to Caldera! Lena was having a pretty much nice time in Greece. Unlike Tibby. Tibby was staying in her city and was working at Wallma´s. Tibby was gonna have a long summer...

Tibby met her boss Duncan Howe. Tibby thinks the whole thing of working there is ridiculous.Tibby didn´t like her boss. She didn´t like her boss because he ignored every she said. The good new is Tibby found her star, her star for the movie she was making over the summer. The movie was called " A Suckumentary, a Pastiche of Lameness". Tibby´s star was Duncan Howe. Tibby had to borrow some tape, but then the door alarm beeps and Duncan accuses her of stealing but gives her a second chance. Tibby was very lucky to not get fired. Lena decides to write to Carmen. She describes how everyone in her family is and how she thought her grandma was pretty but isn´t. This chapter was pretty exiting.

While Lena was in Greece she got bored. Lena got bored because she´s alone with no friends, only her family! She decides to paint the sunset but doesn´t turn out very well. Lena loved the sunset so much she had to save it, painting it. After that she went home. Her grandma told her to dress up nicely since she invited a guest, a "nice boy" called Kostos. Carmen´s father was waiting for Carmen in the airport. He hadn´t seen Carmen since she was four. When they saw each other they gave each other a huge hug. Carmen notice her father, Albert, looks different. When they arrive home Albert revels his new family to Carmen. Carmen doesn´t like them. Carmen gets really pissed off. Nikki found a hearing aid. She thought it belonged to her neighbor, Mrs. Wallabanger. Instead of giving it to her she used it as her social studies project. Nikki made a phone "thingy" out of it, she sprayed painted it. The problem was that she didn't know she was allergic to spray paint, so she got a rash on her ear. Nikki thought the next morning it would go but it didn't. She didn't want to go to school because Brandom already noticed her, so she decided to act as if she was sick. She made fake vomit and acted as if she vomited. Her mom let her stay home for one day, Nikki ordered pizza, watched her favorite TV show... The next day when she went to school her LSA teacher, the librarian, anounced to Chloe, Zoey and Nikki that she was gonna choose six of her best students to go to NYC to a " Meet-n-Greet" with autors for National Library Day. Chole and Zoey were so exited and NIkki was just like whatever. While Nikki Chloe and Zoey were cleaning the book Zoey saw and add of tatoos and wanted to make one and Chloe agreed unlike Nikki. Chloe's and Zoeys' parents didn't let them do one. On Tuesday during gym class they had to do a ballet dance and they ended up dancing Thriller by Michael Jackson. That night Nikki dram about Brandom's and her wedding! Nikki is such a nice friend she drew temporary tatoos on Chloe and Zoey.

During Biology class Brando stared at Nikki. They talked a little bit but Nikki couldn't talk because she gets butterflies in her stomach every time he talks to her. In the library Brandom saw Nikkis' sketches, tatoos, for Chloe and Zoey and he started to talk to Nikki about them. Brandom thought they were very good. Then Nikkis' friends made fun of her but in a friendly way. On Saturday Nikki went to the cinema with her sister only because her mother payed her $10. The movie had a fairy in it and every time the fairy appeared Brianna, her sister, freakes out. When the movie was done Nikkis' dad picked them up in his working van. They had to go to Mackenzie's house because the mom called Nikkis' dad saying that there were bugs in her house. Nikki didn't know it was Mackenzie's house. Nikki and Brianna had to wait in the van while the dad was exterminating the house. all in a sudden Brianna had to pee. She couldn't handdle it inside anymore so she ran to the house and nocked on the door. Mackenzie's mom showed up and Brianna scram that she had to pee! Brianna ran into the house went upstairs. She entered the first room she saw, it was Mackenzie's room. It was enormous. Then Brianna locked her self up in the bathroom and peed. Brianna didn't go out. Nikki heard Mackenzie's voice, she was freaking out not only because Mackenzie was there but because her sister didn't go out the bathroom. Then Nikki told Brianna the tooth fairy was there and Brianna opened the door in one second.They hided behind the shower curtains. Brianna jumped out the bathroom and started hitting Mackenzie thinking she was the tooth fairy , and made her a bruise. Mackenzie had to cancel the party for two reasons, one her house was full of bugs and two she had a bruise on her leg.

Monday was one of Nikki´s happiest days. One of the reasons it was on of her happiest days is because Mackenzie wasn´t doing her party. Nikki was happy of that because she doesn´t like Makenzie and because Mackenzie didn´t invite her to her party. The other reason why This was one of Nikki´s happiest days is because she started making tatoos to people on school and she got popular for like three days. Nikky got popular for three days because she started making a tatoo to Chloe in the Cafeteria and then one of the popular boys asked her to make her a tatoo and then another guy and on and on. Nikki´s life was getting better but like in every book something had to go wrong. That are the reasons why Monday was a perfect day for Nikki, but as the week went on things got a little messed up.

As the week went on everyone wanted more and more tatoos. Nikki was happy but was getting stressed. She didnt even have time to study! Nikki had to make 200 tatoos in one week! She didn´t have time to eat lunch. When Nikki saw Mackenzie giving party invitations to Chloe and Zoey, Nikki freaked out. She decided to quit! Brandom wanted to interview her because of the tatoos but she said no. Nikki was a bit jealous that all her friends got invited to Mackenzie´s party except her. The next day was even worse! Nikki forgot to set her alarm clock and was working the whole night on a project. The next day was the avant art. No one was at her house, she heard her dad leave she put on her pants and a coat and ran to the car. It was
too late. She scram and waved but her dad din´t see her. It was raining but all in a sudden her dad stoped the car. She ran into the van and went to school, trying that no one would see her. Mackenzie saw her and made fun of her because she knew that her father was the exterminator. PLus Nikkis art work got ruined by the car and the rain. All of a sudden Brandom shows up with an umbrella and helps Nikki. Then Brandom, Chloe and Zoey remade the art work of Nikki for the competition. Nikki won!!! that was her goal and she reached it! ...more "
