I am giving it as a gift to someone, and while wrapping it- or not actually wrapping it- I read almost the entire thing, but started at Chapter 3 or so...Now I need to go back and reread it from the beginning. It is very accessible, easy to read, quite thoughtful and very personal. It is also a tremendous retelling of one's journey with Christ-joys and sorrows. I honestly will have to edit this and write more- after the present has been opened, and I can reread-plus have the book near me when writing a review. It is well worth reading. Life can be very unexpected, and the curve balls we sometimes receive can be very hard to receive. I appreciate how Neil kept referring to being prone to looking for the silver linings- even in sorrows. Am looking forward to getting to read this again- fully.
OH, and I did not read the Kindle version. I bought the book purposely as a gift. Glad I got the hard copy....more
