"I'm profoundly struggling to finish this book, in fact, it feels like Bazterrica is daring me to put it down, and stop carrying the weight of all the world's grief at once, in one dirty little package. Its beautiful, its a beautiful work of fiction, and I cannot stand that I know where this story is going, because the dread is too heavy. I feel like a child about to find out that Old Yeller dies at the end." — Sep 10, 2026 01:34PM
