I was just fortunate I hadn’t inherited her other issues; the obsessive personality was more than enough of a burden. It makes you dissect and scrutinize the smallest of incidents, turn situations over in your head endlessly, analyze every syllable of an old conversation, ask interminable internal questions, and ponder the consequences of your actions fruitlessly. Hell, I’ve been known to ruminate over things I said years ago.”
