"Started reading this book because it is one of the books the author Elizabeth Lim said that she read as a kid that inspired her to ultimately write Six Crimson Cranes. I like her writing and more traditional fantasy fiction over romantasy or newer YA so this has been good. Listening to the audio book, and really enjoying Tim Curry. Some of his voices sound like his work in ghibli movies so it fun and familiar" — May 03, 2024 12:04PM

"Decided to read on a whim after learning some really interesting history about the ballerinas of the 19 cen Paris Ballet. It’s actually about the degas’s ballerina paintings and how they usually had to entertain male patrons of the ballet to help fund the opera and their own financial needs. Which makes the concept of phantom interesting and almost analogous to this darker history. Especially Meg and Mme Girey." — Jan 04, 2024 05:32PM

"It’s cute! I like the cover art and the mass market paper back size. And as an English graduate student who has a degree in theatre costuming and worked on tv shows, a regency cosplaying Austen professor advising on a Bachelor style reality tv show is low key hilarious. 😅 (not to mention my girlfriend is obsessed with P&P and reality tv shows so needless to say this book fits quite nicely into our dynamic.)" — Jan 22, 2023 02:25AM

Omg actually seeing this in a book is wild. Kpop and taylor swift...especially because my playlists for the last 8 months (2 years) have been heavy on kpop, indie and taylor swift.
