The whole book is telling her story the story of her transformation of falling in love, learning to trust people, and becoming the witch. Rick is the other main character. He is the man Grateful is falling in love with but what she does not know at first is that he has loved her already for hundreds of years. Rick is also here care taker which is the person who takes care of and protects the witch. Which ends up giving him a huge role in the story.
There are many supporting characters in the book also. One is Greatfuls dad he is the true owner of the house where Grateful is living and gaining her powers but he is trying to sell the house which puts her in a terrible situation. Prudence Is a ghost that is living in Gratefuls attack she was the watcher and owner of the house before Grateful came to live there. She is helping Grateful develop and discover her powers. Luke is another ghost that is living in her attack he is madly in love with her but she does not love him back. Luke become a huge part of the story. The book of life is a supporting object this is the book with all of her spells and potions in it. She would be lost without. Grateful also has a best friend Michelle that is with her through the whole thing. Then finally one of the most important supporting characters are her in previous life to take with her and help her trough.
This book is a romance book with every mythical creature you can dream up. They book is set in present day but often refers back to the salum which trial times where her first self-lived. The house of Grateful and Rick are very important to the type of magic both of them have and there source of power. Grateful source of power is air and she lives in a two story and Rick’s source of power is earth he lives in a stone cottage. The book is also very fast paced there are no boing momenta there is always something going on or coming up. The book was very good at keeping Ur attention. I couldn’t put the book down. Grateful is just trying to make it through her crazy life that is turning upside down on her. And his outcome of the book is huge. This is a series so of course it leaves you with a cliff hanger.
My final thoughts on this book is it is fantastic. I love the take they took on romance and how the made it happen. The book put such a different spin on romance and it also included action it was very nicely put together. I would recommend this book to every one whole loves romance books and wants to try something different. Some parts where inspiring with how she persevered through everything that was through her way and she overcame the situation. ...more "
