There must, whether the gods see it or not, be something great in the mortal soul. For suffering, it seems, is infinite, and our capacity without limit.

This quote struck a cord with me as the past few years have been some of the hardest to walk through. The themes of loss and grief were a forefront as I read. Did not realize this was CS Lewis’s final novel but I do believe it is one of the most profound books I have read.
