"As funny as this sounds, I saw a panel from the "TORIKO" manga that said "clear water breeds no fish" and, for whatever reason, this really resonated with me... there is a wide application to this proverb. I looked it up and found it among excerpts compiled by Normal Wadwell, a translator. I think I read over 40 other bits and pieces from the original work before realizing how far I got.
