"Our class just finished all three chapters of this book and it was "ok". it's basicaly about a women who is trying to find out what life is like for many americans that are paid small wages and sometimes work multiple jobs to live. Along the way she takes jobs such as a maid, waitress, etc. She learns alot along the way and develops mutual support groups with those she works with and learns alot about their lives." — Nov 27, 2011 10:09PM
