12/15 The book has started to pick up a little bit. Even though the book is kind of slow it is pretty interesting. Before i never really knew that their was more attempted assasinations than just Abraham Lincoln. Booth also has people to try and assasinate the vice president and the secretary of state. Where im at now is they are in the middle of their escape to the woods in Maryland.

12/22 Now everyone knows who killed Abraham Lincoln and the secretarty of state, and the vice president. Booth now has weapons from the rebels and he is trying to escape into the woods. They have signs every where offering over $100,000 reward for booth and his accomplices. In the end im pretty sure Booth will probably get caught because he isn't really the smartest guy on where he is going because he doesn't know the woods.

1/5 The escape plan is in action now and the book has picked up a lot more. Before the escaped happened the book was really slow and not a lot happened. Before i read this book i didn't really know anything behind the person that killed Lincoln. He was a prettty smart person and was very organized. Also i didn't know that after Lincoln was shot almost the whole city was out of their house and going to where Lincoln was.

1/12 In the middle of the escape plan Booth broke his leg. This will definatley slow him down and could end up getting him caught. While Booth was getting his leg fixed up at a doctors house, the people that were chasing after him went to the same town he was in but didn't find him because the doctor warned Booth when he saw them. I dont think Booth should have stayed so long at the doctors house, he was there for over six hours. Booth has already made a lot of mistakes and i think he is going to get caught soon enough.

1/20 Looking back to the beginning of the semster and to now my reading speed has increased a lot. On my first book i read through that fairly slowly. But after that book i was able to finish books very fastly. Also i didn't really read over the summer but after this class i probably will start reading at home and in study hall. I read one of my favorite books and series in this class. The Hunger Games was the series i like the most. There is always intense parts of the book. ...more "
