Anger flared through me, anger and frustration and jealousy. Josef could have it all, all we had ever wanted, if he would only take the chance. And he had the chance, something I would never have. Could never have.
I quite a few reviews that paint her as this wonderful selfless person. What version of the book did these people read? She is absolutely selfish and self-centered. Not really a likeable character but that does make her stand out and hopefully allows some character improvement
