"Interesting to say at the least, so far a very distant family with a father that reminds me of a more pissed off version of Roy Shieder, picks up a bizzare Gypsy-Hippie woman who is reaching for a town that will put the family into a fantasy distopia world that'll bring danger to them....." — Aug 31, 2018 05:02PM

"This is a book that tries to bring exposition into the Doom universe, something that the game does not focus on, in this he is fighting for someone, which is fine and adds a bit to the story..but, he talks about this person constantly through the book and it's almost like Doom guy or (excuse me) Flynn McTaggart doesn't keep track that he is in danger too much and Reverberates back to said person almost Nauseously." — Jun 04, 2018 08:32PM

“I really feel like civilisation's already over. It's not ending but it's already done. We're all addicted to the concept that humanity equals civilisation and that's not the case. We need a global conversation to be able to decipher how we can live from this point forward. We have to redefine our relationship with our environment.”

“If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.”

“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
