"aaaand in this one, the mmc's choice of quirky unique petname for fmc that he comes up with within 0.056 seconds of meeting her: Moonbeam

slow start but it's picking up slowly - the characters aren't anything special and the plot isn't super unique but the world is very lyrical and celestial !"

“I liked the idea of living in a city — any city, especially a strange one — liked the thought of traffic and crowds, of working in a bookstore, waiting tables in a coffee shop, who knew what kind of solitary life I might slip into? Suzanne Collins
