As a kid I don't really like to read that much or at all but this book made me realize that if you pick a book that is your taste you will enjoy reading and this book was indeed my taste. This book hooked me into actually enjoy reading for once, it was a really amazing idea for Louis Sachar to put effort and time to write this book it was amazing.

The book's title come a boy accidentally taking a wrong turn into the girls bathroom while going to the counselor and being embarrassed by it. Bradley Chalker is the main character in the book. In the school everyone wants to ignore him because they think he stink. He sits in the back row last seat and never pays attention to what the teacher says. A new kid named Jeff Fishkins came to the school and wanted to sit next to him because he felt that no one wanted to be his friend so he wanted to be Bradley friend, but Bradley wanted nothing to do with him.
The school hired a new counselor named Carla. Bradley and Jeff were suppose to meet her but at different times. Carla was excited to meet Bradley. She wanted to be his friend but Bradley made it hard for her to. As she meets Carla more and more he decide to become a better person, he starts doing his homework more and he got more people to like him. He got invited to a party and had fun. He finally got a gold star on his name for doing his homework. This the most important part of the book it is funny that is why it is my favorite book. And now Louis Sachar is my favorite author.

I strongly recommend this book to people with good humor and likes funny books and movies. Because this book has some good humor to it starting with the title. Everyone should experience a really good and funny book so that they will be hooked into reading more often. This is why I would recommend it to people with good humor and likes funny books and movies becasue this book make your reading time in school or at home good. ...more "
