"I think that so far this book is plot driven. I say that because without Bilbo leaving and Sauron rising, Frodo would never have to go on his journey. Also most of the friends and ally's he makes are because they see the situation and are trying to end the threat to themselves in the best way possible. Even the creatures that help them are stirring in the first place because of the evil taking hold." — Mar 21, 2016 08:42AM

"This book was okay at best. It was a quick easy read that followed the Riordan format to a tee. It successfully used up the 45min that it took to read and gave some meager excitement. I would give this book a 4.5/10 it was nothing special but okay. Overall this book is a good fun time waster so anyone who has a spare hour or so to kill, I'd reccomend it." — Oct 17, 2016 11:03AM
