The setting of this book takes place in Truman Middle School. This book is about a girl named Zebby and a boy named Amr who start a website and the website is the real Truman school to say things that the school newspaper would never say and give everyone a chance to say something they wanted to say. Basically the main characters are Zebby and she isn't really popular at school and she is really shy but at the end she starts to open up. Amr, Zebby's partner is a computer geek and he is shy but he isn't shy when he's trying to be someone else on the computer. Then there's Lilly who gets hurt by what other people say about her. A lot of the kids in school start to visit the website but don't think much of it. They think it's one of those gossip websites and they take the website too far and it gets out of control and people start getting hurt. They went too far on the character Lilly in the book because this kid named Trevor posted a picture about Lilly where she looked fat and had greasy hair and the caption said "Who's the biggest poser at our school." Lilly ran away for two days because of all this bullying going on in the website. Everyone started ignoring her and even her boyfriend Reece broke up with her. The point is that the website was supposed to be about speaking about something real but it turned into bullying and people posting about fake and made up things. The conflict of this book is person vs. society because Lilly is getting bullied and getting ignored. The theme about this book was upsetting because people are bullying people and they go hurt themselves because of all the mean things they say to them every single day.
A major event that changed the character was when Trevor started posting all these bogus things of Lilly on the website and she change throughout the book because everyone started ignoring her and leaving her. The title relates to the book because the title represents the website how all the kids at the school are bullying each other. The setting of this book is important to the theme because this all happens at school and the theme is basically bullying and they are bullying these kids at school.
I was angry when Trevor was putting all those mean things about Lilly on the website. An interesting thing i learned from this book was to be careful what you say just one word can actually hurt the person you are talking to. Trevor's actions were not believable when he put all those mean things about Lilly on the website like it was very rude to her like she probably felt alone after all that. If i was the person who made the website i would probably take it down once all this bullying started.
I rate this book a 4 because it was good but it was kind of bad because it was exposing characters and i didn't really like that. I would recommend this book to a person who was bullied or is being bullied and also to a person who is bullying someone because they can all learn something from this book. Next time you think of saying something think twice because it could hurt someone and don't make up things online to get a good reputation because your making someone else feel worthless. ...more "

I like this book because it stood out to me because sometimes when someone doesn't achieve something it can actually hurt them and you won't even know.

This book takes place in an elementary school and at the Zinkoff's house. This book is about a boy named Donald Zinkoff and he has a hard time having success in anything, but he proves to be a very good person. He doesn't achieve a lot of things but he never loses what is most important like his love of life, self-respect, and to help others. Zinkoff is always happy and he is really happy to be in 1st grade and he is really different from the other kids but they are too young to judge him and all the way to third grade he enjoys life. He is really comfortable with all people of all ages and only a few adults seem to understand him but kids don't so he makes no friends. His family supports him a lot but a kid next door and a kid at school don't they think is very weird. Then once he starts fourth and fifth grade kids become more cruel and they start to observe other kids to judge them, well once Zinkoff gets his first "A" on a test in elementary school all the kids start to mock him but he doesn't noticed. Then one day it was sport day and he seemed to fail all the sports and the kids started to call him loser but they wouldn't say it to his face so he didn't really know that he was considered as a "loser." Then once he enters middle school he goes from a loser to a nobody. He had met this old lady who had a daughter named Claudia and she had ran away from home and there was a big snowstorm happening that day. Zinkoff had heard about the little girl and he went to go look for her in that big snowstorm and he almost died because of exposure. He had found out that Claudia had been found really quickly and she was in good health. Zinkoff felt like a failure again but this touched a lot of the adults mostly Claudia's mother, he had become a hero even though the kids at school think of him as a nobody still. The conflict of this story is person vs. society because everyone is calling him a loser and he feels invisible to everyone. The theme of this book is success because when you try hard and push yourself to do something you can achieve it and do it right.

The third person point of view effects the story because they can't tell you how really the character feels. A major event that changed the character was how he went to go look for the little girl because the kids in school are calling him a loser and he went on a dangerous trip to save a life and they don't even know about it. The title relates to the book because kids notice that he is kind of a nerd and isn't really that into sports so they start calling him a loser. Another theme the recurs throughout the book is supportive because a lot people support him while others are bringing him down.

I was surprised when he went to go try and save the life of a little girl that was very brave of him to do and honestly that makes him a big hero. I was angry about how the kids were bullying him because i think bullying is bad because a lot of kids commit suicide over it and that's wrong because your hurting the person a lot. My favorite part was when every adult was proud of him for trying to save the little girl, and he risked his life just to save hers.

I rate this book a 5 because it moved me a lot and stood out to me a lot. I would recommend this book to a boy who feels invisible because they shouldn't they should try and speak up. Whenever you feel that you are a failure, don't give up push yourself. ...more "

This book takes place in Supreme Overlord of the Universe. The main character is Joss the seventh son and his older brothers took the really cool jobs and the only thing joss has to do is deliver pies but they hold the secrets of the universe between their buttery crusts. Then one day everything changes when a girl named Annika peers through a telescope. Everything starts changing like suddenly the earth starts to disappear. Then joss has the most impossible job and that's to bring back earth with the help of the new mysterious outspoken girl from earth (Annika). When he takes that adventure he learns that the universe is a much more stranger place then earth. The conflict of this book is person vs. society because everyone is pressuring joss to do an impossible mission. The theme of this book is brave because joss did an impossible mission and did it successfully.

A major event that changed the character (joss) was when he had to bring back the earth he thought it was impossible to bring it back but then he decided you know what Im going to do it because it will help me and he changed after that because he knew he was a better and stronger person. Another theme that recurs throughout the book is friendship he didn't know this girl at first he thought that she was really weird but then after that adventure with her he knew that they were going to be good friends.

I was surprised when joss actually decided to go and bring the earth back because when you think of joss you don't think of a big brave guy because he delivers pies for his job. If I were the author I would have joss get help from his brothers because they aren't all that close to each other and this adventure would've brought them closer Together.

I would rate this book a 3 because it was boring at times but interesting at some times. I would recommend this book to a person who thinks that they aren't important to their family but then they do something great and now they are important. So maybe your siblings may have something better then you but you will always be special in your own way. ...more "
