I am biased. After all I'm very well studied in the text. I know it better than the Bible and even then I feel pretty well versed in the Bible. After reading through the Book of Mormon again I'm left to wonder, how is it that I was ever concerned about writing a review?! I am not ashamed of Jesus Christ. It's laughable. I must have been listening to the wrong sort of spiritual influences.

I love the Book of Mormon. Beyond any other spiritual text or scripture, it is for me the most consistently inspirational book I've ever read. Aha moments pop up all the time leaving me feeling the better for it. Each reread proves time and again the worth of this work.

1000 year span of history and insight of ancient native Americans. The Bible prophets Jeremiah, Daniel, and Ezekiel are well known but there were many prophets in their time. Here we have a prophet, Lehi of the same era prophesying the destruction of Jerusalem but we never got his writings canonized in the Bible because he, like an earlier Columbus, jumped ship and ended up finding / landing in America. But his family still wrote and kept records for centuries.

We read the Bible and feel the truth of its words by living its teachings and trusting in God. The Old Testament - an ancient testament of Jesus Christ. The New Testament - a testament of Jesus Christ in the meridian of time. The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ - and ancient American Testament from the text,

"6 Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews?
7 Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?
9 And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever."

Will you read it? Do you hear all that noise telling you pass this one up? Do yourself a favor say a little prayer and" ask, seek, knock" about this one. What does your intuition say?

Free quality audio is available. I find a lot of value in and used an audible credit cause I use audible a lot. Free app or file if you're an e-reader. Physical copies will be gladly given to you for free by any member. I promise, it's not as weird as you might think. Quite a bit more straight forward than the Bible - doesn't replace the Bible - compliments lt extremely well.

Stop reading this review. Go pick up a copy in your favorite medium. Yes, even if you've already read it but especially if you haven't.

3/18/21 update
I was impressed this time around how much "charity" was emphasized there between the end. Almost like a crowning jewel or conclusion. Without adopting the pure love of Christ into our characters it seems as though nothing else will really amount to anything and that everything we do in our spirituality is toward that end or not at all. ...more "
